And Serena Williams
used that as inspiration for her costume for an 80s party at the
weekend - dressing up as He-Man from the much-loved kids cartoon.
In
her short orange wig and the instantly recognisable breastplate, the
reigning French Open and Wimbledon champion looked ready to protect
Castle Greyskull.

Of
course, with 36 major titles - 21 in singles, 13 in women's doubles,
and two in mixed doubles - Williams has no need of any added
supernatural powers.
Serena
hosted the seventh annual invite-only party cum tennis tournament -
which she dubs the Williams Invitational - at her luxury mansion in
Florida.
Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes was among those who gathered for the 80s-themed celebrations during the course of the weekend.
Also joining the party was former NFL star Bryant McKinnie.

With
his hulking physique, the 6ft8 powerhouse didn't need to think twice
about his costume - deciding to come as The Incredible Hulk.
And
not for him an off the rack costume with fake muscles - instead
the 36-year-old simply had his bare torso painted with body paint.
Bodypaint artist Jesse Thoreson told TMZ that Bryant paid him $600 for the custom paint job, which took three hours.

The
arrival of the Williams sisters launched a new era of power tennis in
the women's game, with Serena joining older sibling Venus in holding all
four Grand Slam women's doubles titles simultaneously during 2009 and
2010.
But
Serena has narrowly failed to win all three of the tournaments she has
entered so far this year, with defeat in the final of Indian Wells and
the Miami Open coming after her runner-up finish in Melbourne.
The
34-year-old begins her clay season with the Madrid Open on April 29
with the Italian Open in Rome taking place a fortnight before the next
major in Paris.
