South Korean engineers created artificial muscles one hundred times stronger than human tissue

Yes, it's based on real UNIST (South Korea) research from 2025. Their magnetic artificial muscle switches soft-to-rigid, delivers 30x human muscle's work density (1150 kJ/m³), 86% strain (2x human), and supports 4000x its weight when stiff.

"100 times stronger" is exaggerated hype—likely mixing with 2014 fishing-line tech. Impressive anyway!

Check the UNIST paper for details.
