Japan yes—PM Takaichi plans to formally announce participation at the March 19 summit with Trump. 

South Korea (under Lee Jae-myung) has no public commitment yet, but a key think tank advises "principled willingness to support" plus selective involvement to keep the US alliance strong while avoiding China friction like THAAD. 

Both allies have long cooperated with US missile defense vs NK/China threats, so joint play is feasible.
