China officially plans to form new military alliance with Russia, north Korea, Iran and other countries like NATO.
Recent reports confirm a Jan 2026 trilateral pact between China, Russia, and Iran for economic and military cooperation, but it's not a NATO-style alliance with mutual defense, and North Korea isn't involved. Joint exercises are set for late Feb, per Chosun and others. No broader plans evident.
