A woman was allegedly forced to strip naked and have sex with her future boss during a job interview at a law firm.
Sunny Barkats, the founding partner of JSBarkats, ordered Denisse Villalta to lock his office, strip naked and perform oral sex on him during an interview for a receptionist position, according to a lawsuit.
The lawyer also allegedly demanded Villalta, who was 19 at the time, have a threesome with his wife, promising to make her a paralegal with higher pay if she agreed, during the October 2014 interview.
’ Villalta’s lawyers from Borrelli & Associates filed the lawsuit on Wednesday in a Manhattan federal court.
The 21-year-old reluctantly accepted the $30,000 (£21,190) role because she was in debt from her university tuition and needed health care coverage, say reports.
The next day, it is claimed she was invited into Barkats office, muted a phone call with a client and allegedly ordered her to perform oral sex before choking her while they had sex.
According to the lawsuit, Barkats told her: ‘If I catch you with someone else, I will kill you. You belong to me.’
Villalta then pretended she had a doctor’s appointment so she could escape and never returned.
She is now suing for an unspecified amount of money for emotional distress.
Barkats strongly denies Villalta’s charges.
