Arsenal were taken apart in the scond half by Bayern Munich as the hosts secured an emphatic 5-1 win to take control of this Champions League last 16 tie.
The Gunners were level at half-time after Alexis Sanchez, who initially missed from the penalty spot, slotted home to cancel out Arjen Robben's stunning opener.
But Arsene Wenger's side crumbled in the second half, with Robert Lewandowski, two from Thiago Alcantara and Thomas Muller scored to ensure the Bavarians already have one foot in the quarter-finals.
