Ifeanyi Ubah salutes FCIU players, mgt for unparalleled feat

•Congratulates Rangers Int’l for league title

President of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, has heaped praises on players and management of FC Ifeanyi Ubah for their unparalleled achievement in Nigerian football.
He said that a feat many clubs in the country could not achieve in more than 30 years, the Anambra Warriors were able to achieve within two yearsof existence.
Dr. Ubah, who also congratulated Rangers International FC for winning the 2015/2016 Nigeria Professional Football League title, described it as a reward thoroughly deserved.
“Congratulations to Rangers International FC on a thoroughly deserved title, your triumph is a product of hunger and determination, well done,” he said
Speaking on the achievement of the Anambra Warriors in the league season he said, “I also wish to thank the players and management of FC Ifeanyi Ubah for their unwavering commitment to our goal. For a team barely two years in the Nigeria football scene, what we have achieved is unparalleled. It has taken so many teams over 30 years to realize the same feat and as such, we cannot take our achievement for granted as we know that it has been God all along. I congratulate you all.”
While describing the club’s last game in the season against Mountain of Fire and Miracle (MFM) as “so emotional as it almost drew me to tears”, he thanked the supporters of the FC Ifeanyi Ubah for standing behind it throughout the season.
“I wish to express my most sincere appreciation to all ardent supporters of FC Ifeanyi Ubah (both home and in the Diaspora) for standing firmly behind the team all through the season. Your belief in the project is so uplifting, giving me the courage and hunger to do more. When I count the blessings of God in my life, I count you all twice."
"Let us prepare ourselves as we await the winners of the semi-final clash between Enyimba FC and Nassarawa United who would face us in the finals of the Federation Cup. God has given us a second chance to achieve our goals and I am confident that we will take it". He noted.
