OFFICIAL: Gareth Bale pens new Real Madrid deal

OFFICIAL: Gareth Bale pens new Real Madrid deal
The Wales international has committed his long-term future to the La Liga outfit, extending his stay at the Bernabeu until 2022
Gareth Bale has signed a contract extension at Real Madrid, with the fresh terms set to take him through to 2022.
The Wales international, who earned a Ballon d'Or nomination this week, moved to the Santiago Bernabeu in a record-breaking switch from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2013.
Ronaldo back, Morata to join him?
He has gone on to make over 130 appearances for Los Blancos, netting 62 goals – including 50 in La Liga.

Bale’s exploits have also seen him help Real to a number of major honours, including two Champions League crowns and the 2013/14 Copa del Rey.
Isco stil waiting on new deal
According to Guardian, Bale will be earning £350,000 per week after tax – with a buyout clause set at €1 billion (£900m) – making him the best-paid player at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who reportedly earns £288,000 per week, is said to be negotiating new contract terms himself, however, and is expected to be the club's top earner again before the end of 2016.
A short statement released on Real’s official website read: “Real Madrid CF and Gareth Bale have agreed to the extension of the player’s contract, which is linked to the club until 30 June 2022.”
Bale joins Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in the party of players who have extended their deals at the Santiago Bernabeu this season.
