But Beyonce couldn't help but upstage the rapper at his Madison Square Gardens concert on Tuesday as she showed off some of her best moves backstage. 

Looking effortlessly glamorous in a leather pencil skirt, the 35-year-old singer put on a sizzling display as she danced up a storm with husband Jay Z.

Documenting the moment on Instagram, the Love On Top hitmaker seemed in great spirits as she shared a series of clips of herself throwing some shapes. 

Clad in a leather pencil skirt with a thigh high split, the Grammy winning artist showed off her shapely pins whilst remaining demure, adding some height to her frame in a pair of platform heels. 

Giving the ensemble a rock chick vibe, she also donned a loose fitting Led Zeppelin top that she tucked into her skirt to show off her small waist.
