The new South African Minister of Police, Fikile Mbalula has praised Pastor Tim Omotosho's victims for speaking up. The former Minister of Sports stated this following the arrest of the Nigerian pastor, who is accused of sexually molesting girls and women.
The 58-year-old controversial evangelist, with churches in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, among others, was arrested at the Port Elizabeth Airport on Thursday for allegedly trafficking more than 30 girls and women who were from various branches of his church to a house in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal where he allegedly sexually exploited them.

He appeared in court on Friday but was denied bail.
