Republicans threaten to disown their party rather than vote for Donald Trump as party members use #NeverTrump on twitter

On Tuesday night, Donald Trump won the Indiana Republican primaries, then his main rival Ted Cruz said that he will be suspending his presidential campaign leaving Trump a clear path as the party's unrivaled presidential candidate.


Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, posted a tweet asking all Republicans to unite behind Trump so that they could defeat Hilary Clinton in the Presidential elections come November.

This didn't go down well with some high ranking Republican party members with some saying they will leave the party, some denouncing their membership and even one burnt his voter registration card.
