Rayo Vallecano 2-3 Real Madrid: Bale scores twice in five-goal thriller

The Welshman scored twice, either side of a Lucas Vazquez strike, to earn the visitors all three points, despite Zinedine Zidane's men falling 2-0 behind in shocking fashion
Gareth Bale scored twice as Real Madrid came from 2-0 down to beat Rayo Vallecano 3-2 in La Liga on Saturday.

Adri Embarba and Miku gave Rayo a shock lead against Zinedine Zidane's men, but the hosts could not keep hold of their lead at Estadio de Vallecas.

Bale netted in the 35th minute to kickstart a comeback, before Lucas Vazquez equalised in the 52nd minute, with Bale then sealing the visitors' victory with nine minutes to go.

The result means Real keep up the pressure on both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga.
