Mudryk's 4-year FA ban is for an anti-doping violation. He tested positive for meldonium (a WADA-prohibited substance since 2016) in a routine urine sample taken in late 2024. The FA charged him in June 2025; after investigation and hearing, they imposed the full ban for the presence of the banned substance. He is appealing to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
