Pentecost church to organize 96 hours non-stop Bible Reading Marathon

The Church of Pentecost men ministry in collaboration with the Bible Society of Ghana has launched the 2017 National Bible Reading Marathon. The bible marathon will see over 500 Christians read the bible together from Genesis to Revelation within 96 hours non-stop. The event will take place between 5th and 9th of February 2017, at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra.
According to Citi FM, the speaker of Parliament Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye would on behalf of the President read the first verse of the Bible on the opening day while the Chief Justice, Justice Georgina Theodora Wood would also read the last verse of the Bible on behalf of the Vice President on the closing day.
The Bible reading marathon was launched on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at the Pentecost worship center in Gomo.
