Heartbreaking photos! Woman kidnaps and strangles lover's 5-year-old daughter to death after he refused to divorce his wife and marry her
An Indian woman has been arrested for the murder of a 5-year-old girl in India.
Anita Waghela, 22, lured five-year-old Anjali Saroj with
chocolates, then kidnapped and strangled her to death in a women’s
toilet at Navsari railway station in Gujarat. According to reports,
Waghela killed the child as revenge after the girl's father refused to
divorce his wife and marry her.
Anjali, from Nallasopara, Mumbai, India, lived with her
parents in the same residential complex where Waghela lived. Manjunath
Singe, superintendent of police, Palghar, said the accused had been
involved with the child’s father Santosh Saroj, who is an auto driver,
and had killed his daughter as revenge after the relationship failed.
"Waghela wanted Santosh to divorce his wife so they could
get married, but he kept making excuses and then he refused. She had
been physically involved with him and had undergone abortion twice. She
was furious with Santosh for using her," said a police official, who did
not wish to be named.
"To teach Santosh a lesson, the accused kidnapped Anjali on
Saturday while she was playing with friends in the building. The child
knew her, so she went with her easily. Waghela took her almost 200km
away, to Navsari, where she killed her," the official said.
The official added: "After the murder, Waghela took a
shuttle train and came back to Nallasopara where she joined in the
search for the girl."
The child’s body was found on Sunday, a day after she was
abducted, by women passengers at Navsari who wanted to use the washroom.
They reported to the authorities and investigation began.
The Tulinj police, who are investigating the case, got
suspicious at Waghela's distress, and her over-enthusiastic and
over-helpful behaviour, and questioned her. She was arrested on Tuesday
and grilled and she eventually confessed.
"We have arrested her for kidnapping and murder and will
produce her before Vasai court on Wednesday afternoon," the official
said.

"Dear husband, I. need. more. help": Mum’s open letter to her partner goes viral (screenshots)
Celeste Erlach, from Utah, USA, wrote her husband a letter, hoping he would finally realise that parenthood is a two-people job. The letter has gone viral after it was shared on Facebook group Breastfeeding Mama Talk.
The letter was about trying to raise two young children, with a partner who, more often than not, doesn’t help, or knows how to. Celeste told Metro.co.uk about the final straw which made her write the letter, and how her husband reacted to it all.
She said: "I think the first time a mum asks for help is a significant milestone. For me, this was the first time I even asked because before then, I was determined to do it all and be the super mum I was perceived to be. Asking for help felt like admitting defeat and it wasn’t until I was at wit’s end, that I could even express I’d reached my breaking point.
"When I asked my husband for help, he was eager to assist! He didn’t know how much pressure I had put on myself because I tried to make it look easy. Nothing about parenting is easy. Looking back, I kick myself for not asking for help sooner.
"Since the letter, my husband notices the little things I do more and more. He sees what goes into being a mum and he expresses more gratitude. I hope that this letter helps other mums express their thoughts and struggles. And I hope dads read it and have a better understanding of all the things mums do behind the scenes, both big and small."

Dino Melaye gives IG of Police, Idris Ibrahim, 48 hours to produce escapee suspects or face lawsuit

Speaking on the floor of the Senate today, Dino told his colleagues that the police is being used to harrass him. He threatened to sue the Police boss for “mental assault”.
“Mr. President the social media this morning was awash and I have made confirmation that the suspects in my case who said I gave them guns and money – there is a reported case in Lokoja that there was jail break at 5a.m. this morning and the two suspects have escaped.Dino said unconfirmed rumor has it that the suspects were moved from detention and that they may have been killed. He said something is very fishy about the report.
We were all supposed to appear before the Lokoja high court this morning. My lawyers were in court at 9a.m. and the case was called up and the prosecutor of the Nigerian police could not produce the two persons.
Instead of producing the two persons, they asked the judge to issue a bench warrant for an arrest but the judge refused to grant their prayers and the judge said despite the fact that I have not been served, I sent representation to the court. And the main accused persons are absent in court.
So she cannot grant a bench warrant and the matter has been adjourned to May 10.
“I want to use the opportunity and on the principle of justice to call on the Inspector-General of police that within 48 hours, he must produce these accused persons because they are presumed innocent until proven guilty; they also have right to life. So police must as a matter of urgency produce these two accused persons. Failure to do so I will sue the IG for mental assault. Nigeria is not a banana republic,” he said.

Amazon's Jeff Bezos is the richest person in the world
Bezos made $6.1 billion in just five trading days in 2018 and is now worth $105 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. His net worth reached $105.1 billion on Monday eclipsing the record previously held by Microsoft founder Bill Gates. A rise in Amazon’s share price made the New Mexico-born businessman richer by $1.4 billion on Monday, reports said. This means that in five days, he earned more than most Americans would in 5 lifetimes.
The rise in Bezos’ fortune makes him worth more than Microsoft founder Bill Gates was ever worth, Bloomberg reports. The net worth of Bezos continues to grow as shares of the online retail giant jumped 56% in 2017 and are up another 6.6% so far in 2018. Amazon continues to dominate online spending and has said that Cyber Monday 2017 was the biggest shopping day in its history.
Bear in mind though that Bill Gates has given away a lot of his fortune to charity. Gates’ current net worth is $93.3 billion and over the past 20 years he has given away stock and cash that would be worth about $60 billion today. That would put his net worth at more than $150 billion and made him richer than Bezos if he had kept his wealth to himself.

Photos: Troops avert major suicide bomb attack on Gamboru town

Two of the suicide bombers, strapped with suicide vests had attempted infiltrating Gamboru town at about 6.45 am when they were sighted by a joint patrol team of vigilant troops and Civilian JTF at Unguwar Yobe area shortly before entering the town. They were halted by the patrol team from a safe distance and were ordered to unstrap their suicide vests, to which they vehemently declined. All efforts and entreaties by the patrol team to make the suicide bombers remove their IED vests failed as the duo adamantly approached the troops armed with their IED vests. They were immediately neutralised by the troops, while the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team (EOD) safely unstrapped and detonated the suicide vests.
A third female suicide bomber was detected and intercepted within the same general area and subsequently confessed to the joint patrol that she and the other two terrorists had been dispatched at about 3.30 am on Tuesday to unleash mayhem on Gamboru town. 'Stay home and improve your economies' - President Buhari tells illegal migrants
Receiving Hon. Louise Mushikiwabo, Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs, who came as Special Envoy of President Paul Kagame, at the State House, Abuja, Tuesday, President Buhari said Nigeria had taken it upon herself to bring back thousands of her citizens now stranded in Libya.
"Illegal migration is now a major issue in Africa. Many dare the Sahara Desert and the Mediterranean Sea to get into Europe, and many die in the process. Or they get into trouble, as we now see in Libya. I don't envy our position, as many Blacks claim to be Nigerians, even when they are not. Our Embassies in North Africa are now overworked, trying to identify the true Nigerians. Most of the reasons they mention for migrating illegally are untenable. They should stay here, and see how they can improve their own economies, instead of risking their lives," President Buhari said.
The President said Kagame, as the incoming Chairman of African Union (AU), had the issues of South Sudan, separatist agitation in southern Cameroon, unrest in Togo, and many others on the continent, to contend with.
"Gaddafi's long rule produced many people, whose only skill is how to shoot guns. Now, they are scattered around the continent, still with their weapons, and fomenting trouble," President Buhari said, adding that Nigeria was taking steps to curtail the development.
Hon. Mushikiwabo said President Kagame looked forward to the counsel and support of the Nigerian President, as he assumes the AU chair from this month.
"He will also need counsel on security issues in the Sahel, ongoing reforms in AU, borrow your expertise in agriculture, and renew friendship and kinship between our two countries," Hon. Mushikiwabo said.
