Rapper Lil Durk Found Not Guilty on All Five Charges in M¥rder-for-Hire Case

American Rapper Lil Durk has been acquitted of all five charges in the federal m¥rder-for-hire case linked to a fatal 2022 sh%oting in Los Angeles.

After three days of deliberation, the jury returned not-guilty verdicts on all counts, clearing the rapper of allegations that he was involved in a plot to k+ll fellow rapper Quando Rondo.

Prosecutors alleged that Lil Durk hired a hit team to target Quando Rondo as retaliation for the 2020 k+lling of his close friend, Dayvon “King Von” Bennett, at an Atlanta nightclub.

According to the prosecution, the g¥nmen opened fire 18 times at Quando Rondo’s black Escalade outside the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. Although the intended target survived, his cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, was struck and k+lled in the att@ck.

Lil Durk’s defense rejected the prosecution’s claims, arguing that his former assistant, Kavon Grant, was responsible for ordering the att@ck and had allegedly done so in an attempt to impress his boss.

Lil Durk was prosecuted alongside two other defendants in connection with the sh%oting. The charges against him included conspiracy, stalking involving a dangerous we@pon, stalking resulting in d+ath, and two counts related to m¥rder-for-hire.

The jury’s verdict means Lil Durk has been found not guilty on all five charges.
