President of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle John Suleman has released 50 shocking prophecies for the year 2017. 

The Prophecies were contained in a statement signed by his Advisor (Public Communications), Phrank Shaibu, on Friday in Abuja.

The cleric said "forces" in Aso Rock were "planning to poison the current First Lady (Aisha Buhari)."

According to him, the same "forces" would "alienate Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) and make attempts to remove him from office but God will humble Buhari in 2017."

"A former First Lady of Nigeria needs prayers over her health. Forces in Aso Rock are planning to poison current First Lady (Aisha Buhari).Two times, Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, will face removal from office. They will alienate him and they will make attempts to remove him. But God will humble Buhari in 2017", Suleman stated.

George Michael's autopsy inconclusive

According to TMZ, the cause of iconic singer George Michael's death is still a mystery as his autopsy is inconclusive. Read the report below...

George Michael's death has become suddenly mysterious, because we've learned the autopsy was inconclusive as to cause of death. Law enforcement says there will be further tests performed to pinpoint why Michael died on Christmas day, in his sleep.
We were told earlier the medical examiner would perform toxicology tests. Sources denied there was any evidence Michael OD'd, but it is interesting the autopsy showed no apparent reason why the singer passed.

Law enforcement calls the death "unexplained but not suspicious."

Michael struggled with drug use for years. He had also gained a tremendous amount of weight in the months leading up to his death.

Beyonce's mother Tina Lawson announced that she will be taking a break from social media following vicious backlash after she 'accidentally' liked a post mocking Jennifer Hudson's singing.

Few days ago, the 62-year-old fashion designer liked a comment on Instagram which said that "Jhud sounds horrible" and trolling fans noticed and went on the attack. She wrote an impassioned apology note in which she declared that she was taking a social media break.

"I am writing this commentary for Jennifer Hudson and not for the evil mean people that are making this into a social media ugly thing," she states. "I’ve known Jennifer Hudson for many years and have totally been in admiration of her talent and beauty and kindness I would never ever say anything negative about her or agree with anything negative"

"My children worried that I might accidentally touch something when looking at other sites and have warned me about it. They always say that I am not that great on social media I have to be very careful. And somehow maybe I touched a button but the truth is I was on my Instagram and someone commented on Beyoncé (positive) by the way, and I went to look at their site and saw some good videos and performances of Beyoncé I came across the video of her and Jennifer (which I totally enjoyed) and I was looking at them I didn’t even look at the comments or what people were saying till just now. and I absolutely would not have touched a like or dislike on one of these sites. Nigeria’s population rises to 193.4 million according to NBS forecast

The population of Nigeria which was at 140,431,790 during the last population census in 2006 has been estimated to currently be at 193,392,517. This is according to the National Population Commission (NPC) and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).


According to the forecast released by NBS, Kano is the city with the highest population of 13,076,892  people, followed by Lagos with 9,113,605 people. This report contradicts that given by the Lagos State Government and the United Nations which places the population of Lagos at 22 million people.

Kaduna is estimated to be the third most populated state with 8,252,366 people, followed by Oyo state which has a population estimate of 7,840,864. Katsina has a population of 7,831,319 people, having been displaced by Oyo state to the fifth position.

The NBS population analysis also estimated that  98,630,184 males and 94,762,333 females make up our entire population, with children between the ages of 0 - 4 making up the larger percentage of the nations entire population, followed by those from 5 – 9 years. The population of the people making up the working population (15 – 64 years) is estimated to be at 106,257,431 people.

Despite the crises in the North, the population estimate indicates that there was an increase in the population in the North, with Bauchi being the state with the highest population in the North-East zone at a population of 4,653,066 while Benue leads the population of the North-Central with 5,742,815 inhabitants.

In the South-East zone, Anambra state has the highest population of 5,527,809 inhabitants. Rivers State leads the South-South region with 5,198,716 inhabitants. With a population of 2,277,961 people, Bayelsa is the least populated state in Nigeria.

The NPC will commence preparation for the 2018 national census in 2017.

Woman gives birth in Walmart bathroom on Christmas Eve, dumps newborn in trash can

A 34-year-old woman gave birth to a healthy baby in a Walmart bathroom on Christmas Eve and abandoned it in a trash can.

According to Inside Edition, New Falls, Louisiana resident Kyandrea Thomas was arrested on Monday, December 26th, for the dastardly act and charged with attempted second degree murder.


Thomas was soliciting patrons outside of the Walmart for tips on behalf of the Salvation Army on Saturday, December 24, when she suddenly went into labor. Rather than request medical assistance, the accused instead made her way to a bathroom stall inside of the department mega-store and gave birth to a healthy baby girl, before placing the her inside of a plastic bag and tossing her into a garbage


Another Walmart employee who was sent to clean out the bathroom discovered the child inside of the bin and called for help. Initially unresponsive, the newborn was able to be properly resuscitated at nearby Point Coupee General Hospital before being transferred to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. The child, who was temporarily named Olivia by medical staff, is now said to be in stable condition.

"It’s a very emotional situation, to say the least,"Pointe Coupee Sheriff Bud Torres expressed of the matter. "We don’t know all the facts or what the motivation was for it, but it was a senseless act on her part."

Chief Deputy Joe Gannon, a staff member of the Pointe Coupee Parish Coroner’s Office. told FOX Carolina that Thomas’ baby was approximately 4- to 6-hours-old when the Walmart employee found her in the bathroom.

Incidentally, this was not the first time that Thomas has been accused of causing harm to a child. According to CBS affiliate WAFB-9, the body of 3-year-old Damiyn McElveen was found inside of a van belonging to Wanda’s Kids World, a day care center that once employed Thomas, in 2009.

As stated by court documents, Thomas, along with two other former day care workers, somehow forgot to ensure that McElveen had exited the vehicle on July 1 of that year after picking her up at home earlier that day. As such, the toddler was left to overheat inside of the van for six hours, with temperatures outside reaching upwards to 90 degrees during the afternoon. Thomas was subsequently sentenced to five years probation and 10,000 hours of community service.

Following her booking at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Monday, Thomas was transferred to the Point Coupee Parish Jail, where she currently awaits sentencing. No word on the child’s father has been publicly made.

South African businessman and Patriotic Alliance leader, Gayton McKenzie has taken time to advise South African men on women and making money.
While promoting his soon-to-be released book Hustlers Bible 2, McKenzie urged SA men to stop blaming women for going for Nigerian men. In fact, he says they must watch and learn from them as they are “the kings of Africa”.

 "South African men should forget about the scare tactic of lying about drugs regarding Nigerians, our ladies discovered it’s a blanket lie. Nigerian men know how to treat women; spending money on them instead of writing poems, according to him.

"Nigerian ni**as ain’t got time for poems, they give your girl cash and a good time. Poems don’t buy louboutins," he said.

He does, however, say flowers are a good gift for your lady, only that without a bag or shoes, they will only work for a short space of time.

"A relationship cannot last without gifts, this is not the Stone Age."

When men fail to impress their women, they always opt for calling them names, saying they are not loyal, he says.

"You want a girl that has a Prada bag but you have an Edgars account, don’t go look for trouble homie. Broke ni**as ain’t got no right to say ‘girls are not loyal’. loyalty to poverty you mean."

And to the ladies:

 "When your boyfriend is jealous that you make more money than him, be sure that you [are] dating a child man, real ni**as appreciate hustler ladies."

In a nutshell, McKenzie’s advice to men is to get their finances in order and work their way out of poverty. Not only will this help them take care of their family, but will also help keep their women.

He further shared a story of his cousin who went to him complaining about a rich guy who had taken his girl.

"I told him to prepare to cry many more times unless he gets his money right."

This as another guy lost his girl at a restaurant because he could not afford to buy her champagne.

"I saw a couple drinking castle lite, the nijas at neighboring table sent a champagne; the guy sent it back, the girl followed the champagne."

A French man was reportedly arrested during the capture of Boko Haram's strongest enclave in Sambisa forest last week Friday.

DailyTrust reports that the man worked for Boko Haram as a specialist in repairing and unlocking armored personnel vehicles and other fighting equipment.

Although the Federal government and the military authorities are yet to comment on his arrest, a source within the military says the Frenchman was arrested along the Bama axis of the dreaded forest.

“He was arrested along the Bama axis of the Sambisa forest and agreed to give vital information provided he would be spared. I learnt that he is from France but authorities do not want to make his real identity known for diplomatic reasons…They  don’t want to jeopardise the success recorded,”the source said.

The source added that the sect members might have moved to another location alongside the yet to be rescued Chibok girls.

“It is likely they (Boko Haram) are somewhere because they moved away with their equipment and prized possessions, including the Chibok girls in possession of Shekau group”.

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Abubakar, has called on the Nigerian Senate not to consider the bill seeking gender equality in inheritance because of its religious implications.

The sultan said this while speaking at the closing ceremony of the 20th Zamfara State annual Qur’anic recitation competition.

According to him, the bill is unacceptable to Muslims because it is against Islamic teachings.

"Our religion is our total way of life; therefore, we will not accept any move to change what Allah permitted us to do... Islam is a peaceful religion; we have been living peacefully with Christians and followers of other religions in this country. Therefore, we should be allowed to perform our religion effectively.” He said.

The bill proposes that widows should have custody of their children, except if it is contrary to their welfare. The bill also seeks for widows to be allowed to inherit a fair share their husband's property,
be allowed to live in their matrimonial home and also remarry any man of their choice.

Meanwhile, Nigerians on Twitter have expressed outrage over his proclamation, stating that Nigeria is not a Sharia country and as such our constitution should not be guided by the Quran. See a few tweets below.

Actress Carrie Fisher has died at age 60

Star Wars actress, screenwriter and speaker, Carrie Fisher has died at age 60. According to TMZ, she died this morning December 27th, just days after suffering a massive heart attack on board a flight from London to LAX. There had been reports she was in stable condition at the hospital before news of her death broke

 ... Fisher was on a flight from London to LAX Friday when she suffered the heart attack 15 minutes before landing. People on the plane tell TMZ she appeared lifeless.

A passenger who's an EMT performed CPR on Carrie and once the flight landed, paramedics rushed her to UCLA Medical Center where she remained in intensive care until her death. The family had said she was in "stable condition" but we're told she was not responsive after her medical emergency.

Carrie had been on a publicity tour for her new book, "The Princess Diarist." The book recently made headlines because she wrote about having an affair with co-star Harrison Ford while shooting the original 'Star Wars' movies.

George Michael's close friends say drugs ruined his career and caused his death

Gary Farrow, a PR guru and close friend to George Michael has claimed a drug habit ruined the late singer's career. He told the Sun:

‘I believe easy access to drugs was the cause of his problems. I thought George was too bright to get involved with illegal substances. But once this disease gets hold of you it’s hard to fight it.’ 

Another friend revealed that just weeks before he died, the singer would throw wild all night parties at his £8million mansion. They said: '

George loved having friends over and was often still going strong well into the following morning. This continued right up until his death.'

Another source, claiming to be close to Michael said that he had suffered an overdose. He said:

'He's been rushed to A&E on several occasions. He used heroin. I think it’s amazing he’s lasted as long as he has.'

Hold El-rufai Responsible for the Killings in Goska Village, Jema'a LG - SOKAPU

Once again the Southern Kaduna Peoples' Union (SOKAPU) has had to painfully send out condolences to the murdered people of Goska village in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Ironically, on a day that our people ought to be joyously celebrating the Christmas festivities, was the day they were reduced to burying their loved ones, treating the wounded in hospitals and coping with a fresh batch of internally displaced people of Goska village whose houses were burnt down. 

Burnt and killed on 24^th December 2016, while happily engrossed in preparing for the Christmas celebration, secured in their knowledge that a 24-hour curfew meant to keep them indoors would also keep away their killers. Alas how wrong they were.

SOKAPU is calling on all people of goodwill to personally hold Governor Nasir El-rufai responsible for all those murdered in Goska village because these killings took placed under a 24-hour curfew, imposed on Zangon Kataf, Kaura and Jema’a LGs by the Governor. While people were forced to stay indoors, pampered marauding herdsmen whose presence around Goska has been noticed and reported by people around that area for almost three days, attacked the town and for hours killed and burnt without let or hindrance from security. This amply confirmed our assertion that the 24-hour curfew slammed on the 3 LGs in Southern Kaduna was just to punish the people for daring to protest the persistent killings in their villages on 20^th December when El-rufai visited kafanchan.

It means the Governor lied on December 21 when, in justifying the 24-hour curfew slammed on the 3 LGs said, “The State Security Council said it took the step following credible intelligence about risk to lives and property in the areas.” More than 20 communities have been attacked and hundreds killed without the Governor getting any ‘credible intelligence’ to lives and property but he became drowned in ‘credible intelligence’ to justify his curfew when youths and women protested the killings in his presence.

To confirm that the Governor’s sole intention was to punish those who protested against him, look at the answer he gave State House correspondents when on 22nd December, he visited Aso Rock to get endorsement for the 24-hour curfew from Mr. President. “I don’t think the state government should be blamed, those responsible for the violence that broke out in those parts of the state should be held responsible for that. We have not imposed curfew in other parts of the state, we had to impose curfew here because of the situation that was caused by irresponsible behaviour by certain people.”

Those who initially thought the 24-hour curfew was to stop the herdsmen from continuous killings now can see the real reason for it.

Even the hundreds of policemen, soldiers and other security personnel quickly drafted to those 3 LGs, especially Kafanchan were just to enforce the curfew and arrest those the Governor felt disrespected him or trying to defend themselves and not to stop the killings. This was further confirmed by the attack on Goska, because despite the hundreds of security men brought in from all over, Goska village, just some few kilometers away from Kafanchan town was still attacked. And like always, the security went to Goska village after the marauders had killed, burnt and left.

Where was the surveillance helicopter that flew round Kafanchan during the day?  What happened to it during the attack? Where were all the hundreds of security personnel quickly mobilized to Southern Kaduna? For some times we have been crying and screaming ourselves hoarse that we need security in Southern Kaduna but nobody paid any attention until when someone felt the need to ensure that his curfew isn’t flouted.

With the attack on Goska, who will the Governor now blame? He has blamed everybody for the continued killings in Southern Kaduna except himself or those he paid money to stop the killings. So who will he now blame for the Goska attack? Maybe they were Niger Delta militants disguised as fulanis!  

We are saying it calmly that all men of goodwill should hold Governor El-rufai responsible for the killings in Goska, due to his inflated ego, unguarded utterances, appallingly undignified conduct in handling the killings in Southern Kaduna and his morbid penchant for deliberately living in denial of the actual people and reasons for the killings in our area since he became Governor.

We condemn the attack in Goska village and condole with the bereaved. SOKAPU is calling on all our people to remain calm, never to go on any reprisal, never to take the law into their hands and remain law-abiding. In the midst of all this, we are wishing all people in Kaduna state a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
