Claudio Ranieri guided Leicester City to their maiden BPL title
The 2015/16 Barclays Manager of the Season accolade has been awarded to Claudio Ranieri, the Leicester City manager.

The Italian guided the Foxes to a maiden BPL title, finishing the campaign 10 points clear of their rivals, having lost only three matches.
Ranieri, who picked up three Barclays Manager of the Month awards en route to the title, oversaw 23 victories and 12 draws at a win percentage of 60.5% during the campaign.
"As a player I was not a champion but I had great heart," said Ranieri. "I told my players I wanted them to play English football and I put my little Italian tactics with their English heart and then we can do something special.
"They followed me. It is a fairytale and I don't know what has happened. I don't know, believe me."
The Leicester City squad celebrate their 2015/16 BPL title triumph
The BPL trophy represents the first major league title of Ranieri's long managerial career, the previous highlights of which included Coppa Italia and Copa del Rey triumphs with Fiorentina and Valencia respectively and second-place finishes in Serie A with Juventus (2008/09) and Roma (2011/12) and Monaco in Ligue 1 in 2013/14.
The 64-year-old's previous best achievement in English football was guiding Chelsea to a runners-up finish in the 2003/04 BPL season.
Ranieri's only league titles - with Cagliari in 1989, Fiorentina in 1994 and Monaco in 2013 all came at second or third-tier level.

Having defied odds of 5000/1 to be hailed champions, Leicester's achievement has been widely acknowledged as one of the most remarkable achievements in world sport.
