The
spotlight will shine on her tomorrow at a special 90th birthday gala -
but today the Queen looked relaxed as she returned to one of her
favourite events.
Her
Majesty enjoyed another day at the Royal Windsor Horse Show and was
pictured beaming as she walked around the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The
monarch is well known for her love of horses, and even the chilly
weather could not put her off as she wrapped up warm in a blue coat and
white and pink floral head scarf - before changing into an eye-catching
fuchsia pink coat and matching hat.
And
she was joined by several members of her family, including husband
Prince Philip, her youngest son Prince Edward and grandchildren James,
Viscount Severn, and Lady Louise Windsor.

Viscount
Severn and his mother Sophie, Countess of Wessex, were pictured
enjoying themselves by testing out remote controlled cars around a
special rocky course at the show.
The
eight-year-old looked smart in a grey blazer, blue-striped shirt and
blue trousers while his older sister Lady Louise, 12, seemed to be
setting out to match her father as both donned green jackets.
It comes ahead of a televised birthday celebration on ITV tomorrow night from within the castle grounds, hosted by Ant and Dec.
Eager
crowds lined up to snap pictures of her as she was driven to the event
at the Berkshire castle with some posing for selfies when her car
arrived.
Today's
entertainment focused mainly on pony competitions, including the
Shetland Pony Grand National, while there were also exciting displays
from Azerbaijani horse riders and the New Zealand Army Band.
The show will continue tonight with a performance from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and the Royal Cavalry of Oman.

The
four-day event got off to a rocky start when the first day was
cancelled by wet weather on Wednesday - the first time that had ever
happened in its history.
But
Her Majesty's fortunes improved when she scooped a £70 Tesco
voucher after her horse Barber Shop won the Tattersalls & RoR
Thoroughbred Ridden Show.
Presenters Ant and Dec have promised a spectacular evening of entertainment at tomorrow's gala.
It will feature more than 900 horses and 1500 performers, as well as rare archive footage of the monarch.
