Beyonce and Jay Z's twins' names revealed.

According to TMZ, Jay Z and Beyonce have named their twins Rumi and Sir Carter.

They said they know this because the company run by the couple that owns the trademarks to their names just filed legal docs to secure the rights to the names, Rumi Carter and Sir Carter. The trademarks are for fragrances, cosmetics, key chains, baby teething rings, strollers, mugs, water bottles, hair ribbons, playing cards, tote bags, sports balls and rattles and novelty items.

For years, there have been reports that Jay Z's mother is gay. Jay Z and his mother seem to confirm the reports in his new album 4:44. In the album which just dropped, JayZ spilled a lot about his family, including his marriage to Beyonce.

Among the songs in the album is a track called "Smile". Jay Z's mother, Gloria Carter, collaborated with her son on this track and they both seem to be telling the world that Gloria has been a lesbian for years but had to remain in the closet.


Jay Z raps: "Mama had four kids, but she's a lesbian.  Had to pretend so long that she's a thespian. Had to hide in the closet, so she medicate..."

Jay Z's mom who had to raise the rapper and his three siblings on her own, after Jay Z's dad abandoned them when he was young also recited a poem at the end of the track.

She recited:

"Living in the shadow
Can you imagine what kind of life it is to live?
In the shadows people see you as happy and free
Because that's what you want them to see
Living two lives, happy, but not free
You live in the shadows for fear of someone hurting your family or the person you love

Jay Z's new album was released in the wee hours of this morning and it is all the rave at the moment. The 4:44 album was dropped exclusively on Tidal, a music streaming service owned by Jay Z and some other music artists.

This is Jay Z's 13th studio album and it appears to be really personal just like Beyonce's Lemonade. In it, Jay Z revealed quite a lot, including admitting that he cheated on his wife, Beyonce and it affected her and their child, Blue Ivy. He said it took Blue being born for him to realize the value of his marriage.

He also rapped about that infamous elevator fight with Solange and kind of acknowledged that it had to do with him cheating. He called out his former best friend Kanye West, OJ Simpson, Rapper Future and more.

Following his revelations, the Beyhive went in on the rapper specifically because he cheated on their queen. The Beyhive aside, a lot of people have praised the album as a work of genius and one of the best in recent times.

The first song on the album is titled Kill Jay Z and it makes reference to the death of the former way of spelling his name without the dash. The new spelling will now be JAY-Z, all in capital letters and with a dash.

Calling out Kanye West in the first Song, Jay Z said: "Ye' has changed. You dropped outta school, you lost your principles. I know people backstab you, I feel bad too. But this fuck everybody attitude ain't natural. But you ain't the same, this ain't KumbaYe."

Addressing the 2014 elevator fight with his sister-in-law Solange, Jay Z confirmed in the "Kill Jay Z" track that she attacked him because he cheated on her sister and refused to acknowledge his fault.

He rapped: "You egged Solange on. Knowin' all along, all you had to say you was wrong."

Jay Z expressed remorse for cheating on Bey. In the track Family Feud, he makes reference to Becky, a name Beyonce mentioned in one of her songs, "Sorry", from the Lemonade album when she said, "better call Becky with the good hair".

Jay Z raps: "Yeah, I'll f*ck up a good thing if you let me / Let me alone, Becky / A man that don't take care his family can't be rich."

He continued in the track 4:44 "Look, I apologize, often womanize / Took for my child to be born / See through a woman's eyes / Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles / Took me too long for this song,"

"I don't deserve you, I harass you out in Paris," he added in "4:44". "Please come back to Rome, you make it home. We talked for hours when you were on tour. Please pick up the phone, pick up the phone."

The father-of-three continued to address his infidelity on the track titled  "Kill Jay Z". He said he could have lost his family from his cheating ways. He went on in the same track to shade rapper Future for letting his relationship with Ciara end.

"You almost went Eric Benét.. Let the baddest girl get away... In the FUTURE, other niggas playin' football with your son," he says making reference to Future's son with Ciara, Future Jr., whose stepfather is NFL star Russell Wilson.

He also addressed his mother's sexuality and finally acknowledged that she is a lesbian (read here)

On the track titled "Family Feud", Jay Z talks about Rev. Al Sharpton's mirror selfie that hit the internet just last week (read here). This is an indication that the 4:44 album was only recently completed.

There are 10 tracks on the 4:44 album and they include: Kill Jay Z, The Story of O.J.,  Smile,  Caught Their Eyes,  4:44,  Family Feud,  Bam,  Moonlight,  Marcy Me,  Legacy.

Germany legalises same sex marriage

German politicians have voted to legalise same-sex marriage. A total of 393 politicians voted to legalising "marriage for everybody", while 226 voted against and four abstained from voting.

The snap vote took place today, only days after Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel changed her mind to allow a free vote.

Ms Merkel, has always been against same-sex marriage, but she allowed for the vote after saying on Monday that politicians could take up the issue as a "question of conscience". As expected, she voted against the bill citing concerns over the welfare of children.

Members of Ms Merkel's conservative coalition were given the freedom to individually vote for their choice rather than follow party lines. The Chancellor said though she voted against legalising gay marriage, she hoped Parliament's approval of the measure would lead to more social cohesion.

She said: "For me, marriage in the basic law is marriage between a man and a woman and that is why I did not vote in favour of this bill today."

Germany has allowed same-sex couples to enter civil partnerships since 2001, but same-sex marriages had remained illegal. All of Ms Merkel's potential coalition partners after the September 4 election have been calling for the legalisation of same-sex marriage. However, her traditional Catholic conservative bloc was not happy when she announced that she would allow politicians to vote on same-sex marriage according to their individual conscience drew the ire of some in her traditionally Catholic conservative bloc.

The "marriage for all" bill will grant gay and lesbian couples full marital rights and allows them to adopt children. It will likely be signed into law by the President some time after July 7.

Tennis pro, Serena Williams has clapped back at her male colleague, John McEnroe who claimed during an interview that she would be as low as number 700th in the world on men's tour.

When NPR’s Lulu Garica-Navarro asked why he wouldn't call her the greatest tennis player ever he said, "Uh, she’s not," and that "if she played the men’s circuit she’d be like 700 in the world."


McEnroe, a former world number one who won Wimbledon three times and the US Open on four occasions made these statements during during an interview with US radio station, NPR.

Serena Williams who holds the record for the total number of major wins in the Open era replied him via her Twitter Page.

Since giving birth to her twins, believed to be a boy and a girl, Beyonce and her newborn babies have been in this lavish Malibu hideaway to keep away from prying eyes and also to give them time to rest and get used to their new life.

The luxurious mansion, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, has extensive 6.3 acre grounds and boasts of 14 bathrooms, 10 bedrooms, a 25ft infinity pool and it costs $400,000 a month to rent.


It has a rose garden with more than 1,000 flower bushes, a landscaped desert area and a tennis court complete with a viewing deck. Beyonce is renting the La Villa Contenta until the end of August, that is for more than two months, so do the math.

Beyonce moved in on Wednesday after leaving the hospital following the birth of her twins via cesarean section. It is reportedly another reason why she rented the secluded location, she wants a nice, quiet place to recuperate. Her mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, was seen on Sunday arriving at the luxurious house to visit her grand babies. She arrived in a black Porshe SUV.

Neighbours at Beyonce's lavish hideaway include Halle Berry (she has a house that sits directly on the sandy beach facing the Pacific), Caitlyn Jenner, Barbra Streisand, Pamela Anderson and Julia Roberts. The La Villa Contenta has been featured in a lot of movies such as, in HBO's True Blood, in CW series Privileged, Funny People, and more.

Nigerian playboy Kolawole “Kola” Aluko is the owner of the 79th-floor penthouse at the One57 tower on “Billionaires’ Row” — it’s a swanky pad that could become the biggest residential foreclosure in New York history, The Post has learned.

The 48-year-old energy tycoon — who is pals with Jay Z, Beyoncé and Naomi Campbell — hasn’t been paying his bills on the $50.9 million luxury condo, and a European bank is forcing a sale next month.

The Luxembourg-based Banque Havilland, which issued a $35.3 million mortgage on the 6,240-square-foot spread at 157 E. 57th St., has listed as collateral Aluko’s 213-foot yacht, the Galactica Star, and is looking to collect what it’s owed plus interest, court documents show.

On top of the unpaid mortgage that came due last fall, Aluko also has been racking up maintenance fees and taxes on the property. He has not been seen for some time, prompting speculation that he is hiding out on the Galactica Star.

The boat — which Aluko rented to Jay Z and Beyoncé in 2015 for $900,000 a week — was last registered in Freeport, the Bahamas, on May 3, but is currently “out of range,” yacht trackers said.

According to sources, Aluko did appear with the yacht at the ill-fated Ja Rule Fyre Festival music event in the Bahamas in late April. Prior to that, the Galactica Star left Cabo last year and was briefly berthed in Turkey, records show. Aluko is close pals with Leonardo DiCaprio, and partied with the Oscar winner at his birthday in New York in 2013. Reps for Aluko confirmed at the time that he had made a large donation to DiCaprio’s environmental charity.

Lately, Aluko has been dodging Nigerian authorities, who in February tried to freeze his assets including the apartment as part of a money-laundering probe. Aluko, who claims Switzerland as his residence, was among those who allegedly obtained lucrative contracts from Nigeria’s former oil minister, who has also been accused in a $1.76 billion scheme to defraud the government of oil sale profits that both have denied.

The alleged plot may have parked the money in assets around the world, including jets, automobiles and pricey real estate in London, Sweden, Dubai, New York and California. Aluko has been busy flipping many of the expensive properties he’s bought.

In Montecito, Calif., Gwyneth Paltrow paid Aluko an undermarket $4.9 million for a 2.4-acre estate that was equipped with a massive pool. In 2012, Aluko paid $14.7 million for an 11,478-square-foot manse in Beverly Hills that was rented to Ariana Grande.

The singer had to leave when Aluko sold it for just $13 million in 2016.

More recently, a shell company controlled by Aluko has been trying to unload an apartment at 1049 Fifth Ave., which it bought for $8.5 million in 2013. The apartment, whose two combined units boast four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a maid’s apartment and two storage units, has liens on it of more than $20,000, and it owes $61,000 in taxes to the city as of July 1.

Luxury skyscraper One57, built by real estate mogul Gary Barnett’s Extell Development, holds the sales record for a full-floor apartment, with one unit that sold for $100.5 million. But with lots of competition from new Billionaires’ Row towers, including 432 Park Ave., it has become harder to sell and rent mega-priced condos.

Talented Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi graced the cover of last Sunday Guardian Life. In the interview, the singer and dancer whose engagement announcement to RnB singer and co-star in TWP, Banky W, broke the internet revealed how she was able to keep the news under wraps despite being in an industry where there are barely secrets.

“I’m very particular about my inner circle," she said. "You can count my closest friends on one hand and that’s because I believe you just need a few good friends, I am very friendly to everybody else. Also my family, my mum, those are the people that keep it all together for me and they are always there and you can’t beat that"

She also revealed five things people probably did not know about her.

"I’m left handed. I’m not a fan of handbags and jewellery. I think Will Smith is perfect. My mum is a pastor and I sang in a choir for ten years."

Etomi made her debut into the Nollywood film industry in 2014 with Knocking on Heaven’s Door and a year after bagged the Best Actress in a Drama Award at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for her role in Falling. 

In 2017 she went on to become part of the cast of one of the highest grossing movies in Nigerian history The Wedding Party (TWP). Prior to that she had been very much involved in the theatre scene featuring in plays like Shattered, Anatomy of a Woman, London Life Lagos Living, Saro 1 and 2 and The Secret Lives Of Baba Segi’s Wives to mention a few.

Apparently, it's not only Chris Brown and Quavo of Migos who are fighting over a woman. Meek Mill and Safaree Samuels (both Nicki Minaj's ex) are fighting and it's huge.

Safaree got beat up by Meek Mill's crew on Friday. In a video obtained exclusively by TMZ, Safare can be seen greeting a friend, when Meek Mill pulls up and gets out of his car. A fight soon breaks out and Meek's crew jumped Safaree.

According to reports, Meek Mill had warned Safaree days before BET Awards weekend kicked off in LA, telling him to stay away from the Awards. However, Safaree called his bluff and showed up.

Nicki Minaj's two exes showed up almost at the same time to DJ Khaled's pre-BET party which held at Penthouse in WeHo. This caused Meek's crew to attack him for defying their warning.

Meek has denied being involved in the fight and truly he was not one of those seeing throwing punches at Safaree. Yet, Safaree is not taking it lying down and has challenged Meek to a fight though Meek has said he won't fight him.

Nichi Minaj weighed in on the fight and Monday and it seems she's taking Safaree's side.

Three journalists resign from CNN following Russia story retraction

Three CNN journalists have resigned after the network retracted a story linking a top President Trump adviser to a Russian investment bank. CNN, which Trump has frequently referred to as "fake news", has come under a lot of criticism since retracting the story and making apologies.

Thomas Frank (the author of the story), Eric Lichtblau (an editor in the CNN investigative unit that ran the story), and Lex Haris (who oversaw the unit) have all left CNN, the network made this known on Monday.


"In the aftermath of the retraction of a story published on CNN.com, CNN has accepted the resignations of the employees involved in the story's publication," a CNN spokesman said on Monday.

It is believed this move would help CNN's legal position in case of a lawsuit. The retracted story connected Anthony Scaramucci, a top Trump ally, to a Russian investment fund run by a bank controlled by the Kremlin. CNN carried out an internal investigation and reportedly discovered that normal editorial processes weren't followed in the story's editing and publication.

It was also found that only one anonymous source was used in the story, and things such as fact checkers which CNN use in verifying their stories, were reportedly not used before publication. The network said that the result of the internal investigation does not necessarily mean that the facts of the story were wrong but the issue was that the piece was not strong enough to run as is.

Following the findings of the internal investigations and the retraction of the story, CNN added strict rules for its Russia coverage. The network also apologized to Anthony Scaramucci.

"On June 22, 2017, CNN.com published a story connecting Anthony Scaramucci with investigations into the Russian Direct Investment Fund," CNN said in a statement.

"That story did not meet CNN's editorial standards and has been retracted. Links to the story have been disabled. CNN apologizes to Mr. Scaramucci."

A source close to CNN told BuzzFeed that the story's publication was a "massive, massive f--- up and people will be disciplined."

Report claims that women absorb and retain the DNA of every man they have unprotected sex with and they are genetically bonded forever

A new study found that women retain and carry living DNA from every man with whom they have unprotected sexual intercourse. The finding was made from the University of Seattle and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

It is not clear how solid these findings are but the study, which was focused on the female brain and genetics, found that 63% of women have brains that harbor DNA that originated from another individual. 

 

This male DNA  happen to be genetically distinct from the cells that make up the rest of the woman. Following a careful study, the researchers found that the male DNA in those women’s brains were from present or past lovers. The DNA was genetically fused to the women’s brain, and will be there for her entire life.

The discovery was reportedly made by accident. The researchers had originally been trying to determine if women who have been pregnant with a son might be more predisposed to certain neurological diseases that occur more frequently in males. To do this, the scientists had to pick apart the female brain and in so doing they discovered that the female brains often harbor “male microchimerism“. This means the presence of male DNA that originated from another individual.

At first, the researchers assumed the male DNA found in the female brain were from a male pregnancy but when an autopsy was carried out of the brains of women who had never been pregnant, let alone have a male child, the same male DNA were found in their brains. This led to great confusion and the scientists concluded that the male DNA were left in the women by every man they have ever had sex with. The study concluded that sperms are living cells and every time a woman's body absorbs spermatozoa from a man, it becomes a living part of her for her entire life.

"Sperm is alive. It is living cells. When it is injected into you it swims and swims until it crashes headlong into a wall, and then it attaches and burrows into your flesh. If it’s in your mouth it swims and climbs into your nasal passages, inner ear, and behind your eyes. Then it digs in. It enters your blood stream and collects in your brain and spine," Your Newswire reports.

Serena Williams bared her growing baby bump in her first ever pregnancy shoot.

The 35-year-old tennis pro covers the August issue of Vanity Fair, wearing nothing but a skin-toned thong and belly chain for photographer Annie Leibovitz, and opens up about how she met her fiance, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and the baby they are expecting.

The couple first met at a hotel in Rome, Italy, when Ohanian, much to her displeasure, sat at a table nearby Williams at breakfast. She joked with him that there was a rat in an effort to get him to move.

"I’m from Brooklyn. I see rats all the time," Ohanian responded. Williams asked him to join her party, and the rest is history.

Ohanian planned a spontaneous trip to Italy to pop the question.

"I knew it was coming," she recalls. "I was like, ‘Serena, you’re 35, you’re ready. This is what you want."

Ohanian proposed at the same table where they had first met at that hotel in Rome. Now the two are expecting their first child.

She also revealed that she announced her pregnancy to her fiancé by handing him a paper bag containing six positive pregnancy tests. Williams admits that "it just doesn’t seem real."

"I don’t know why. Am I having a baby?" she confides. "If you would have told me last year in October or November that I would have a baby, not be pregnant but have a baby, I would have thought you were the biggest liar in the world. This is kind of how I am right now. This is happening sooner than later, and it’s going by so fast." 

She adds,

 "I don’t know what to do with a baby. I have nothing. . . . I’ve done absolutely nothing for the baby room."
